AGARTALA, May 23 (TIWN): Biplab Deb led BJP Govt targeting CPI-M’s clean leaders but sparing corrupt leaders like Gautam Das due to CM’s main advisor cum OSD Dilip Roy’s dirty games. After 25 years of one-way ruling, the CPI-M leaders are facing existential crisis in the BJP-era. From Lenin’s statue to party office demolition, in BJP's Ram Rajya the democracy is coming under threat again and again with the latest charges against Jitendra Chowdhury, who is indeed one of the most spotless and upright Communist leader. Questions raising, whether BJP with its high ambition to make Congress-mukt Bharat, Communist-mukt Tripura is ‘manipulating’ the power when Congress is taking legal actions for 70 years old party offices demolition. However, existence of a strong opposition party is essential for a state and a country.

Especially in a corrupt  state like Tripura, role of opposition is much essential but it has been observed that CPI-M following its decade-long unorganized and suspicious activities are now under the new BJP’s grill in each and every step.

From cattle smuggling issues to Chit Fund, CPI-M ruling damaged the state’s reputation even though nobody could down the image of the much alleged Ex-CM Manik Sarkar.

It has been observed CPI-M’s important leader, Ex-Finance Minister Bhanu Lal Saha came under phensedyl smuggling charges after he voiced in the Assembly onMarch 28 with various issues. Bhanu Lal Saha was almost arrested at Bishalgarh and it was a bad time for CPI-M that one of the leading figure of the party faced such crisis situations and now finally silent since a long time.

Then the most senior, diplomat Badal Choudhury against whom BJP did enough politics with TMC (Medical College) related alleged scams, even though after coming in power, BJP has done the same in that medical college by handing over it to the society once again which allows to received multi-lakhs fees from the guardians of the medical students. It  was Badal Choudhury who said in the Assembly targeting IPFT-BJP’s alliance, “CPI-M did everything but didn’t bow head before the blood-mouths”. Choudhury on that day raised money extortion issue of the IPFT, delaying 7^th pay commission etc. Soon, CBI grilled Badal Choudhury as witness of the scam.

Now, bad days started for MP Jitendra Chowdhury, indeed a spotless leader and also widely respected among tribal community. Unexpectedly, the BJP is now trying to link him with terrorists, the party which itself is in alliance with IPFT and IPFT is none other than made with many surrendered NLFTs.

From scam to deprivation CPI-M topped, but it never bowed head before IPFT, which perhaps the plus-point of the party will gain majority Bengalis vote banks in the coming elections.

However, with all these it’s  visible how much over-ambitious the BJP is becoming to make an opposition-free country amid Karnataka’s big defeat and expose of BJP’s undemocratic Election victory attempts.

BJP already losing majority Bengali support base slowly due to partner IPFT’s vandalism, extortion across Tripura. Unless Biplab Deb learns basic skills of running a Govt, Tripura’s doomsdays are not far.
