AGARTALA, May 22 (TIWN): After Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s ‘Paan-shop’ and ‘Cow Breeding’ controversies where he asked his state's unemployed youths to start Cow-related business or to open paan-shops instead of running after govt jobs, now Biplab Deb is facing again tough situations after sent 462 unemployed youths to private companies at South India which are actually undergoing losses. Biplab Deb led Tripura Govt thus has met another fresh jolt with CM’s Job-recruitment blunder by appointing Tripura youths to few South Indian Textile companies. TIWN’s concern regarding the future of youths sent for South Indian Textile Industries under the liability of Tripura Govt has been proven as True with many complaints are receiving regarding the pathetic condition of the youths residing at South India who are merely paid Rs. 250 per day as honorium.

However, Tripura Govt wanted to send 4000 youths to those companies but around 1600 got the appointment letters and only 462 among them were ready to leave Tripura to join in those companies. But within 15 days of passage tragic reports are coming regarding their pathetic living conditions in the name of free fooding and lodging.

A two day long job fair was conducted from April 25 to 26 by “Southern India Mills Association" (SIMA).

The Tripura youths were provided by state govt with a special train for traveling on May 8 whereas after reaching at there the companies were to give them free accommodation and also manage free meals.

It was said that after 3 months of training they will be recruited by the companies as regular employees.

Right now the youths are even not being provided with proper meals, neither they are paid the deserved salaries and bound to live in very unhealthy situations.

South Indian Textile mills under "Southern India Mills Association" (SIMA) had proposed many states including Tripura and the Tripura Government responded immediately.

Presently Tripura is topping in unemployment rate, whereas Chief Minister Biplab Deb has challenged to appoint 7 lakhs youths within next 30 months in various jobs.
