At Agartala under the AMC areas, there are total 36 camps still active and from administration all kinds of assistants are being provided to the flood affected families through relief camps. West DM, Sandeep Mahatma said, “At Jirania there were 11 relief camps on yesterday, whereas today 8 of them have been closed. 3 relief camps at Jirania are still on service”. Regarding AMC areas, DM said, all the camps are fully active, even though many families have gone back to their houses but for meals they will come to the relief camps. Moreover, state govt is not taking any risk and they families under AMC have been called to join in the relief camps from the evening for their safety, if they want. For tonight all the 36 camps will remain active in Agartala's AMC wards.

North Tripura, Sepahijala Districts have remained almost untouched by relief camps but constant raining have damaged crops at there. At Gomati Dist TIWN reported huge losses to the farmers especially in Udaipur area mostly.

At Amarpur subdivision,  Burburia, Birganj, Bampur, Sabong areas above 150 homeless people were recorded took shelter in relief camps. But among all the Districts, the West Tripura Dist was the highest sufferer.

On yesterday total 51 relief camps were active and out of the 47 were in the West District.

Two persons died in Tripura  yesterday after mud-houses collapsed over them.

In case of West Dist, due to Howrah river’s erosion and improper barrage-structures such disasters are happening in each monsoon.

State Govt was to take the barrage construction work in hand, but the pre-monsoon arrived heavily led the capital city to overflow in flood.
