Flood-dangers continue to haunt West Dist

AGARTALA, May 21 (TIWN): Howrah river’s water level continues to sign danger threats even though in compare to the last night’s water level it has been slightly decreased.

The rainy weather has been continuing in Tripura from May 17, whereas the death tolls are up at 13 till now.

Above 3000 families across Tripura recorded as homeless, took shelter in relief camps. Total 16 relief camps were opened across Agartala. 

State Ministers, local MLAs are visiting the relief camps, whereas the Chief Minster is to return from Guwahati today.

The water-logging in AMC areas have certainly decreased but the river banks conditions are undergoing critical situations.

Most suffered areas from the flood situation are : Jirania, Badakhal, Srilanka Basti, Pratapgarh.
