AGARTALA, May 20 (TIWN): BJP Govt's new recruitment policy has been welcomed widely, but at the same time youths are eagerly waiting to know when the interview process to be started with the fresh recruitment policy. At the same time a strange situation is haunting the state Veterinary students and the passed out students as they are unable to sit in any interview due to ‘lack’ of registration numbers. Along with the ongoing students, the passed out students are unable to sit in any interview since two years as the College has failed to manage their registration numbers, even though via joint-entrance the students got admission in the Veterinary College under the state govt of Tripura.

From Group-A to Group-D, in no interview the candidates are eligible yet as College authority due to lack affiliation couldn't provide the registration numbers to the passed out and undergoing students. Minister Santana Chakma has once again visited the College recently and was told by the students regarding their problems and before her visit the students also sent a letter to the Chief Minister via Janata Durbar. However, no development has come to the critical issue.

The registration related problems are not only the problems of the Veterinary students but in similar manner few other college students as Nursing College are also suffering from lack of ‘affiliation.

The previous CPI-M Govt also did the same with the students but it was hoped that quick action this time will be taken after a change in the administration.

But Minister Santana Chakmma herself visited the College and after cabinet meeting announced to modernize the college, for which Central funds will be needed, but nowhere the Minister talked about the passed out students problems, neither she mentioned about the internee students agonies.

As there is no response from the Govt, the students have decided to go in protest.

When other states students are appearing for TPSC with valid registration numbers, Tripura students are unable to apply for jobs due to No-Registration”. The angry students also questioned on the intelligence level of the Minister of their dept Santana Chakma as after telling her repeatedly, she is unable to give any response to their problem.

With all these tensions have gripped the Veterinary undergoing and passed out students of Tripura. Students have demanded state govt’s immediate attention into the matter.
