AGARTALA, May 19 (TIWN): With a historical note, BJP led Tripura Govt has introduced the much awaited video-recording system for viva tests in the job recruitment for govt departments in case of Group-A and Group-B, whereas Group-C and Group-D selection with be via only written exams, abolishing the viva interview process. BJP Govt dismissed the CPI-M Govt led recruitment policy, introducing a 100 % fair recruitment policy for the state’s unemployed youths. When Tripura has been suffering from huge tolls of unemployed youths and thousands of cases are pending against the previous CPI-M govt, the current BJP led cabinet has abolished the old job recruitment policy by introducing a ‘fair’ and ‘transparent’ recruitment process. This has been a tight slap to the brokers of Tripura job-recruitment system via TPSC and other Depts who since decades had deprived the talents to feed own pocket and relatives. Announcing about the new recruitment policy, Tripura Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath said, “We have dismissed the existing recruitment policy of the state and adapted a new policy to maintain transparency”.

“For the sake of greater transparency and fairness we have replaced the old one and adapted the new policy”, Ratan Lal Nath said after the cabinet meeting on Saturday.

“The candidates who deserve the posts they will only get the jobs from now. Only qualified candidates are welcome in this administration”, Nath told media.

“May be it hurt a section of people but there will not be any political influence in job recruitment for the sake of fairness”, he said.

“From now the candidates who will qualify the written tests, only they will get the jobs, which means no Minister or political person can recommend anybody for jobs. In case of Group-D and Group C recruitment also, the jobs will be allocated through written tests”, the Minister added.

10 % can be kept for in Viva tests for any interview. Not, only this, the whole viva interviews should be Vidographed !”, the Minister announced.

“The earlier recruitment system through TPSC may also be restored. The role of TPSC may be expanded but in that case also not above 10 % can be kept for viva under video-recording”, he said.

The Minister also said a new body like TPSC may also be set up for Group B, Group C, Group D recruitment excluding skill base jobs as driver, stenographer etc as separate ‘skill test’ along with written tests will be needed for those jobs.

In case of Police, Jail dept, Fire Service also along with written tests, medical and other tests will be mandatory.

“In case of teachers recruitment also there will be TET exam and no compromise”, the Law Minister said.
