AGARTALA / LEGUNGA, May 14 (TIWN): IPFT activists while agitating in front of Lefunga block, accused Minister Ratan Lal Nath for proposing INPT candidate Ranabir Debbarma’s name as BAC Chairman of that block.

The angry IPFT activists also blamed the BJP for snatching rights of the democratic system of the country by choosing INPT, BJP leaders as the Chairpersons instead of IPFT.  

The protesters have demanded the immediate resignation of Block Advisory Committee Chairman (BAC) Ranabir Debbarma, who is an INPT member and to replace that Chairman post with an IPFT candidate.

At Killa, Bagma area the block offices are closed, strikes are observed by the IPFT led a tensed situation at there. According to IPFT, as IPFT is in power, so an INPT candidate can not be exist as BAC chairman.

Later the party leaders also met NC Debbarma, IPFT President at his Krishnanagar residence.
