AGARTALA, May 12 (TIWN): At least 11 party offices were served with notices for building over govt lands, a BJP leader said on Friday.
Reacting over the anger of CPI-M and Congress, BJP leader Pratima Bhowmik said, “The govt is not doing anything wrong. The bulldozing rules are same for all parties”.
“Our own party offices will also be demolished. At least 11 of them are now under notices. Not only notices but various offices were also bulldozed”, she said.
Whereas Congress and CPI-M, Congress are alleging the BJP Govt is doing undemocratic activities, the BJP leader asked, how can parties demand illegally occupied govt lands to remain in their hands ?
On the other side, Congress has claimed, in exchange of blood also they will save their party offices.
CPI-M are vowing to move High Court as no minimum time was given to the parties before bulldozing.
