UDAIPUR, September 5 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Sarkar is visiting Udaipur to inaugurate the multi-cultural complex Rajarshi on 6th September. All of a sudden PWD officials came out swiftly to repair the roads in Udaipur to make a good impression before CM. Since Tuesday such repairing works began and still it continues. This afternoon workers were seen doing the repairing on the main road leading from Bridge Corner to Old Motor Stand with road roller giving the finishing touch. It is really surprising g that throughout the year and even last year as no maintenance was done on this road, going through the heart of District Headquarter.

     The repairing was going at Gada Chowmahani. Interestingly the local people and business are also aware of CM's visit on 6th September. One businessman namely Anirban Saha told TIWN, " This has become an old fashioned strategy of PWD. Whenever CM visits Udaipur repairing works on road starts. And more surprisingly the repairing is done on these roads through which CM's convoy is expected to go on." PWD Officials busy in making CM's smooth ride but the rest of the year the cries of the people go unheard.
