AGARTALA, September 4 (TIWN): A minor reshuffle occurred at Police Department before the upcoming Durga Puja. Superintendent of Traffic Arindam Nath had been transferred and shifted as the Superintendent of special branch (SB). The position has been taken over by Smriti Ranjan Das.

General administration (personnel and Training), Government of Tripura by notification shifted the position of six police officers. Among them four belongs to IPS post.

Other persons rather than Arindam Nath Sudipra Das has been posted Sub divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Kailashahar under Unakoti district and Ajit Pratap Singh posted as new SDPO of Teliamura under Khowai district by replacing incumbent SDPO (Teliamura) Chandan Saha. TPS Grade-II officer Chandan Saha has been transferred as assistant commandant of 12th battalion TSR.

The Incumbent SDPO of Kailashahar, Manabendra Choudhury has been posted as deputy superintendent of police at Tripura police Accountability Commission on deputation.
