Power cut, low voltage hit various parts of Tripura following rains, storms

AGARTALA, April 21 (TIWN):Throughout the day state Tripura has suffered from pathetic power connectivity and low voltage was reported in various parts of Agartala City.
In the Banamalipur area, from Math Chowmuhnai to various spots people passed whole day under low voltage.
Many trees, houses were also damaged in the heavy wind-blow.
The normal lives were highly interrupted due to the rain, but more showers are expected in next 2 days according to the weather dept.
In many ADC and rural areas the power connectivity was fully cut and yet to return.
The transport system was heavily disrupted in some parts of the state. Tensions prevail as more showers are expected in next few days.
