AGARTALA, April 19 (TIWN): When BJP Chief Minister is under media’s criticism on fact base, CPI-M are silent to criticize CM. A reliable source said that CPI-M is trying hard and soul to spoil the relation of BJP Govt with media and foolish Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s friend Gautam Das’s relative CM’s OSD Dilip Roy is now acting at his best and trying to create tension between CM & Media world.

When journalists complained the Add Secretary of CM Millind Ramteke about the restrictions imposed upon journalists, Ramteke expressed his shocks. Already media persons are fuming against the CM after journalists entries have totally restricted on the 3rd floor, and especially inside the CM’s chamber’s corridor.

Resentments have been expressed by Tripura daily newspapers and journalists, media persons, after prohibition was imposed on the journalists movements at the Secretariat.

Till day if a person have a govt ID card of a journalist, no restriction was imposed upon him/her to enter at Secretariat, but suddenly on yesterday no journalist was allowed to enter directly inside the Secretariat.

The security guards told journalists that from high level,  order has come not to allow any journalists without any proper reason.  Moreover, on the 3rd floor in front of CM's chamber, journalists can't move randomly. 

The media cells of Tripura have also complained about the issue to Additional Secretary to CM MillindRamteke. 

This order is totally undemocratic and beyond constitution. Resentments have brewed among the state media persons. The order basically was to keep the CM far from media, the daily newspapers alleged. 

Today the chief minister also lectured journalists for a long time,  about ‘unbiased news writing’.

Till day even after Gautam Das’s involvement in the chit fund scam, BJP Govt is silent to handover the case to CBI and all the signals the media are not taking positively.

TIWN earlier published how In 2002, preliminary investigation into SDPO Dilip Ray led Police firing and subsequent killing of DSP Kalyan Sarkar and 2 other Police officials pointed towards unholy nexus of a group of Tripura Police officials and Dharmanagar based smugglers. Alongwith smugglers, Tripura and Manipur based millitants wanted a large lumpsum money in exchange of the kidnapped girl Nayank Agarwal. Dilip Ray’s selection as TPS officer was a highly questionable because during 1998. TPSC (Tripura Public Service Commission) under the Chairmanship of Suprasanna Chakraborty distributed TCS, TPS posts to all CPI-M family candidates.

Manik Sarkar’s close comrade Suprasanna Chakraborty’s era as TPSC Chairman was called a dark period with full of corruptions and rampant allotment of TCS, TPS grades to only CPI-M families. Dilip Ray’s TPS allotment also during 1998 era when CPI-M families appeared in TPSC exam for names sake but given these prime Civil Servant jobs.

In this condition keeping a snake like Dilip  Ray in Secretariat will spoil more, the intellectuals are expecting.
