AGARTALA, September 2 (TIWN): With the aim to ensure safe and sound atmosphere in the ensuing Durga Puja and maintain law and discipline, Kamalpur sub division police administration held a meeting in the conference hall of Kamalpur Police Station.
SDPO Uttam banik, OC Debaprasad Roy, Kamalpur Nagar Panchayat Chairman Khana Das, eminent social activist Anjan Das and Durga Chowmuhani Block Chairman Manabendra Deb along with the officials of sub division club and social organizations remained present there in the meeting.
In the meeting, Police Officer Uttam Banik and Debaprasad Roy focused on maintaining law, order and traffic system during Durga Puja. The other orators held a discussion session highlighting the maintenance of peace during Durga Puja.
The clubs and social organizations were reminded of the rules of collecting subscription, social duty and responsibility respectively on the part of police.
