AGARTALA, April 9 (TIWN): Students from various depts in Tripura have remembered Anuara Choudhury today on her 1st death anniversary, who met tragic ending of her life at 16 yrs. This is the date, when before 1 year Tripura Polytechnic student Anuara Choudhury died very unnaturally. Anuara's death raised roars of protest across the state, but after 1 year also, justice is silently weeping, even after students placed deputation to the new BJP Chief Minister Biplab Deb. Anuara Chhatra Samaj had demanded proper investigation in Anuara murder case, who was killed in 2017, May 9.‘Anuara Chhatra Samaj’ led by some youths placed a deputation to the Chief Minister Biplab Deb on March 25. However, so far no development has been seen in her murder case, neither there is attempt to punish the doctors who certified Anuara's death as "Heart Attack", instead of "Poison-Attack".

In the deputation placed before Biplab Deb recently, it was written, “We, the undersigned members of Anuara Chhatra Samaj, an apolitical group of students demand proper investigation in the murder case of Anuara Chowdhury (16) years old student of Women’s Polytechnic, Hapania. After incoming of forensic report from outside Tripura and repeated protest movement, state police arrested Noor  Mahammed, maternal uncle of Anuara”.

“But it has been seen her maternal uncle is not only the lone accused in the case…..Her maternal uncle’s wife should also be arrested”.

“Moreover, maternal uncle’s son Sunny also needed to be detained and interrogated as he could more nearer to her sister ‘Anuara’ as per the statement of her father given to police. When Anuara was brought to hospital, cut marks and several injuries were also noticed on her face and neck which suspect that she was raped before alleged murder. It is suspected that, Sunny might have a hand behind raping her few days back before the murder”.

“Apart from accused persons, two doctors namely Dr Kishan Rawat and Dr Shyam Sundar Saha of GBP hospital is involved and caused death of Anuara”, Anuara Chhatra Samaj said in the deputation.

With all these Anuara Chhatra Samaj has demanded proper investigation to solve the ‘mysterious’ case, but unfortunately no improvement have been seen in her murder case.

Her maternal uncle who was arrested got bail long back, neither any action was taken against the GB Hospital doctors who declared Anuara died in heart attack, even though on that time BJP youths only exposed the doctors.

Not only this many central BJP leaders also met Anuara's father, promising him for justice. Now it's to be seen what action BJP led Police Dept takes to unearth Anuara murder case.
