AGARTALA, April 9 (TIWN): “As promised, BJP will surely give 7th pay commission to the govt employees, but at the same time the govt employees have to show dedication and must be time-bound”, BJP MLA Rampada Jamatia said.

“As govt is thinking about govt employees salaries, at the same time the govt employees must develop the work culture. In any case of negligence the employee will be immediately suspended even can be downed with demotion of post”, Jamatia said.

“But 7th Pay Commission is sure as last time during Amit Shah’s visit, he confirmed us. Amit Shah said that as already 7th pay commission has been promised, so BJP Govt will give it by hook and cook”, added Rampada Jamatia.

It can be recalled that recently during Gandachera (Dhalai Dist) visit, BJP Chief Minister Biplab Deb has suspended many Govt employees on spot. All Ministers including CM have been warning the govt employees to be responsible and time bound.

Chief Minister Biplab Deb also raised question, "If Bank Officials can do everyday's work everyday why other Govt employees can not do ? Before leaving office the works need to be completed or I will take care of the employee".

"Now, we have formed our own Govt. Keep trust on our Govt and the cabinet. I have also appealed to the Govt employees that they must work with working-motives and to be time-bound. If they start working, automatically the employees will catch the speed. Daily works will be completed on daily-basis from now", said Deb.

"If Bankers can do, why not other officials. In Bank before you go, one has to complete the work in the evening. If they can do, why other employees can not ? Each person in Govt job, must complete their official works before the leave office or I will take care of him", he added.

Noteworthy, on March 10, in the first cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Biplab Deb had asked the Govt employees at the same time to be punctual and to complete everyday's work before leaving the office.

CM said, "We need to develop the work-culture. I would not say, we don't have work-culture, but we should be more into that. Govt is by the people. After people have voted, then only Govt came in power. The Govt employees are those, via whom, the State Govt will work. You are the representatives of the Govt and thus I am calling all officials of each department to come in office in time and to be punctual".
