AGARTALA, April 8 (TIWN): If someone asks Industry Secretary Nagaraju that how many Industries opened and How many Jobs are created by Industry Dept under Nagaraju’s tenure during Manik Sarkar era and now ? Answer would be ZERO. Tripura’s bad fate that most inept officials like Nagaraju, S.K.Panda, S.Prabhu were chosen to head Tripura’s Skill Development Mission by none other that CPI-M Chief Minister Manik Sarkar. From the statistics, it is evident thatTripura Skill Development Mission gifted lakhs of Central Govt money to corrupt coteries like Lichubagan based Thief’s Training Centre whom Manik Sarkar gifted a prime piece of Govt Land. Tripura Skill Development Mission so far failed to provide effective skillsets which would help unemployed youths to become successful entrepreneurs. So, rather than employing Technocrats or Industrialists to run Skill Development Mission, these inept officials like Panda, Nagaraju, Prabhu were chosen not because of their any skills but expertise in ‘Boot-Licking’ Skills to please Manik Sarkar, followed by incumbent CM Biplab Deb.

In the name of skill development, S.K.Panda all did was some time-passing with unemployed youths of state, occasional lunches  and thus the Skill Development Mission remained just as a joke to the unemployed youths of Tripura.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 2015, July 15 launched the Skill India campaign on the occasion of the first World Youth Skills Day in view of opening a war against poverty in the country. The budget for skill development has also been increased as Jaitley in his budget allocated Rs 3,016 crore as against Rs 2,173 crore last year. PM said under the next phase of Skill Strengthening for Industrial Value Enhancement (STRIVE), the government will be spending Rs 2,200 crore. 

However, as part of the programme the Tripura Government received a hefty fund and had taken up certain initiatives just for name-sake under the skill development training programme.

Manik Sarkar, S.K Panda, Nagaraju  already turned Tripura's Skill Development mission a joke as Lakhs are being shown as spent on hapless youths but it actually benefitting many CPI-M pet thieves like in Lichubagan Traning Centre.

Manik Sarkar's pet officials like Nagaraju, Panda, Prabhu made sure Tripura's Skill Development remains a farce so that CPI-M's organized thieves can loot money in the name of Skill Development Training.

A Thief run Skill Development Traning center at Lichubagan already enrolled hundreds of fake names in Skill Development Training programme as participants who are paid Rs 4500 each after 1 month Training(on paper) but most of these money are pocketed by the evil axis of Manik era Thieves & officials.
