On 1999 a law was passed in after opposition Congress held protest in the Assembly. The Act was “The Tripura Protection of Interest of Depositors (In Financial Establishments ) Act". That time Manik Sarkar also the Law Minister of Tripura, but it took 7 years more to get a print out of the law in the Govt offices, but Manik Sarkar as the Law Minister was abide by all laws regarding Chit-fund, allowed Rose Valley disaster in state.

In 2016, Sudip Barman said, “When Rose Valley came in Tripura Bijita Nath, Manik Sarkar, Tapan Chakraborty and other legislators propagated the company. Not only this the CPI-M did as much as possible to create the trust for the company among the public mind”.

The BJP leader Sudip Barman on Saturday has raised question, how the state govt in Tripura declared Rose Valley scam as of Rs. 35 crores, which had extended Rs. 97.84 crores ?

Tripura Govt recently has given a press release refusing various allegations against the state govt on 10 issues and among the allegations Rose Valley was on the toplist. Sudip Barman said, "How the allegations were denied, for which Badal Choudhury had to loose his Ministry, what about the brand ambassadors of Rose Valley as Gautam das, Bijita Nath and others ?"

Sarkar’s “intimacy” with Rose Valley group of Agency were alleged, linked various times who not only promoted chit fund but also allowed the thieves to loot the public funds. Barman also raised question, why after 2013 when Sudipta Sen was arrested, Manik Sarkar allowed the chit fund scamsters to escape from state?

Tripura's lakhs of public is in dilemma now ... why Biplab Deb, Sunil Deodhar delaying CBI investigation against  Rose Valley Chit Fund Scam in spite of this issue was one of the top Pre-Election manifesto released by Union Minister Arun Jaitley in Agartala ??? 

Rather than CBI investigation, appointing Gautam Das' relative corrupt TPS Officer Dilip Ray into OSD Post sending wrong messages against BJP's bold stance on CPI-M corruption.
