AGARTALA, April 3 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on yesterday at Agartala Press Club said, due to deprivation and negligence served to the tribal people, they are raising various kinds of demands.
CM had addressed journalists after he visited in rural areas on Howrah river bank at Agartala.
“The roads where me, Chief Secretary and others became tired after walking little, the people living at there are bound to walk miles on such roads”, he said.
“Nothing is there. Water crisis, lack of basic livelihoods are common parts of their living. Once we can provide them facilities, then all such demands will be forgotten”, CM said.
“Why in Agartala people do not demand separate land ? In the same way, once they will get their rights, will forget their separate land demands”, CM told media.
