AGARTALA, March 20 (TIWN): A good news for Information Technology students as Central Govt has assured to set up an Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIIT) in Tripura aimed to open opportunity for the software engineers.
Indian Institutes of Information Technology are a group of institutes of higher education in India, focused on information technology. Five of them are established, funded and managed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development and the rest is on PPP Model.
However, Tripura IIIT will be fully based on PPP model.
During Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb and Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma’s Delhi visit, Union Minister of Human Resource Development Prakash Yavedkar also met the state leaders and after the meeting at Delhi, the state govt in Tripura has announced that.
