AGARTALA, March 18 (TIWN): The reason BJP Govt has said recently behind financial crisis situation, it was repeatedly said by the CPI-M Govt too. "Incoming is less than the Expenditure", Tripura Minister Pranajit Singha Roy said recently. However, the former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar had also claimed in his time that around Rs. 2000 crores of fiscal deficit the Left Govt was facing under NITI Ayog and now after coming in power, BJP Govt has claimed 1588.19 crores of losses. Already the BJP Govt has planned to place a heavy financial-package demand for Tripura before the Central Govt and CM Biplab Deb to fly to Delhi with files. From agriculture to industry all are down in the state leading nil-revenue income resulted in heavy fund-crisis each-year.
Not only this, Tripura which has recorded with the lowest GDP rate in whole India also has become a burden for the Central Govt unless and until the Industry and agriculture grow here soon. Chief Minister Biplab Deb however has stressed upon the agricultural development of the state which can increase the revenue.
If the Govt fails to increase the revenue income, there will be no difference between BJP and CPI-M.
Tripura Minister Pranajit Singha Roy said that soon Tripura CM Biplab Deb will go to Delhi demanding a heavy package for Tripura.
"Tripura is undergoing a major economic crisis situation. We believe that Central Govt as well as the Common people's cooperation will help Tripura Govt to overcome the problems", said the Minister.
"The fiscal deficit is Rs. 1588.19 crores and whether there is any debt it has to be checked. We are promised to fulfill or demands according to vision document and Chief Minister will go to Delhi with Tripura demands. We believe, central govt will help us to settle down", the Minister said.
Tripura BJP govt is now undergoing heavy economic crisis following the 25 years of CPI-M regime. In this condition rather than depending upon the Central Govt, it left with no other option.
However, behind such an economical disaster, BJP Govt has blamed the nil-revenue income of the state govt years after years.
