AGARTALA, March 11 (TIWN): State Govt employees under 'Tripura Govt Employees Maha-Sangha' organized a rally here in Agartala, congratulating the newly formed BJP Govt for announcing 7th pay commission for the its employees.
As promised, the 7th Pay Commission was announced after the first cabinet meeting of CM Biplab Deb led BJP Govt on yesterday. A committee was formed for further implementation of the pay commission.
Minister Pranajit Singha Roy told media, "At the first we picked up the 7th Pay commission issue in the cabinet today. A decision has been taken to form an Expert-Committee for the implementation and for the further discussion".
At the same the new Chief Minister Biplab Deb has asked the Govt employees to take their responsibilities and to be more responsible as they are now representing Tripura Govt.
