This is the leaders who was directly dealing with Centre in various issue since 20 years including UPA Govt's era.

Either accusing India for doing 'Dadagiri' or to hit DD-News for excluding his speech Manik Sarkar appealed the nation. NITI Aayog controversy was also created by Manik Sarkar later followed by Mamata Banerjee and Kerala leaders.

Moreover a tight winning has always been benefited the people in case of any state's development. In case of Left is being unseated by BJP, thus the existence of Manik Sarkar in the Assembly is much important.

However, defeating Manik Sarkar in Dharpur would not be easy for BJP, especially after choosing poor orating candidate for that place.
