AGRTALA, Feb 15 (TIWN): The former Congress Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat has termed BJP’s promises in Vision Document as "hollow-words", which the party has announced to win the election. Addressing in a press conference, Harish Rawat said, “Since 4 years, the Modi Govt at Centre failed to do a single work perfectly. Their all promises have been proving as lies. In the same manner, ahead of election, BJP is promising to open job-opportunities but once they win the election, they will show their actual coloursâ€. “BJP never fulfills its promises. Since around 4 years they are in power but have failed to fulfill a single given promise. From demonetization to black money returning, the BJP failed to fulfill any promiseâ€, added Rawat.
“2 crores of unemployed youths were promised to provide with jobs before they came in power. But after coming in power the Modi Govt has totally failed keep its promise. In the same manner Tripura’s Vision Document will also be failed under BJP Govt”, Rawat told media.
Hitting the Left Govt of Tripura, Rawat said, “The CPI-M in Tripura is also ruling for 25 years but their promises are also proven as empty promises. It’s only Congress Party which is a better alternative. Above 60 % people in Tripura are living below poverty lines, registered unemployed youths numbers is now 7.5 lakhs”, said Rawat.
Harish Chandra Singh Rawat is an Indian politician who was Chief Minister of Uttarakhand from 2014-2017. A five-time Member of Parliament, Rawat is a leader of the Indian National Congress party, has arrived here in Tripura to campaign for Congress party. Tomorrow Congress All India President Rahul Gandhi will also visit Tripura.
