AGARTALA, Feb 10 (TIWN): “There is nothing to be changed in Tripura as under the left govt Tripura is undergoing tremendous developmentsâ€, claimed Tripura CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar attacking BJP's "Cholo Paltai" slogan.
Dhar was addressing at Agartala Press Club, where he met the Press ahead of election by answering various questions raised by the media on behalf of public.
“Tripura has peace and now aligning with IPFT, BJP like communal parties are trying to spoil the existing peace of the state. Is this the way they want to bring changes ? This ‘Cholo-Palitai’ slogans are totally baseless”, added Dhar.
Talking about the 7th Pay Commission, Dhar said, “7th pay commission’s promise is totally a lie. No 7th Pay Commission was implemented in Manipur and the employees are going in strike at the end of February. 7th Pay Commission was also not implemented in Maharastra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh”.
Regarding tribal developmental issues Dhar said, “One has to re-think where we were and where today we are. The BJP has described that Communists are anti-poor but in that way they are actually trying to dump their sins upon CPI-M. Everyone knows BJP is a party for the rich and corporate”.
