SONAMURA / AGARTALA, Feb 8 (TIWN): Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his one day visit in Tripura while addressing at Sonamura said, “Tripura needs much more development and that’s why we don’t need further any Manik but need Hira nowâ€. Modi by Manik meant double as the CPI-M Chief Minister of Tripura is Manik Sarkar and also Manik means a jewel. Explaining the meaning of Hira in his own language (in English diamond), PM Modi said, “Hira has a meaning. We all need Hira, but here Hira means H for Highway, I for I-ways means the digital-waves (Internet), R for Railway and A for Airwayâ€.“Tripura will have three “Tâ€. T for Trade, T for Tourism and T for Trainings for unemployed youths. One the one side, we will have connectivity and on the other side, developments will come, livelihoods of common men to be changedâ€, said Modi.
Modi further asked, “Don’t we need 7th Pay commission ? Isn’t it govt employees rights ? Don’t the unemployed youths deserve employments ? Here people fighting the Assembly battle not for any political party but for their rights. Unemployed youths fighting for being employed and the employees and pensioners are striving for their much deserved 7th pay commission”, said Modi.
PM Modi further promised that for Northeast infrastructure Central Govt has decided to allocate the 100 % funds including water supply, power connectivity, people’s ease of living.
