Tripura Assembly Election : Ruling, Opposition leaders are Active with 'Pranaam' theory to woo voters

AGARTALA, Feb 2 (TIWN): Only 16 days have left for the Assembly Election-2018, which will decide ruling and opposition leaders' fates for the next 5 years. However, this year, 'Loho-Pranam' theory is much active to woo votes by the leaders. Almost all the leaders, especially the new comers are boosting the campaigns with this pranam-theory, by touching elders' feet. However, once they will be selected as MLAs then
how would be their reactions towards mass for the next 5 years it's known by all. Amidst all these, election preparations of the parties in Tripura are on peak.Various promises are being given by the ruling as well as the opposition party members through various rallies, door to door campaigning.From CPI-M instead of Yechury, Brinda Karat's presence in state, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar is holding at least 2 rallies in a single day.

All the parties are now busy in door to door campaigning whereas BJP has claimed to give a tough challenge to the ruling CPI-M in the upcoming election and both the parties are leaving no stone unturned in the preparation. Congress also with its best efforts are fighting the election battle fully. 

Tripura BJP has announced its star campaigning schedule for the upcoming Assembly Election in left ruled Northeast state Tripura, which is going to be conducted on February 18. PM Modi's visit has been roughly declared as on February-8 and another on February 15. On February 8, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Santir Bazar (South Tripura) at 12 PM, whereas another rally will be conducted in the same day at Kailashahar (Unakoti Dist) at 3 PM. PM Modi also may address press or hold meeting in Agartala on the same day.

Textile minister Srimti Irani's visit has been finalized on February 5 where she will hold a road show with 6 MLAs of Sadar. Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari's visit will be in the next day i.e. on February 6 and most likely the rally will be done at Dharmanagar with MLA Biswabandhu Sen. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh,  will address on 7th February in Pratapgarh (Agartala) .Nirmala Sitaraman's rally is on February 10. Arun Jaitley to release BJP's election manifesto on January 12.
