'13 lakhs teachers to be provided with B.Ed trainings' : Budget 2018-19

AGARTALA, Feb 1 (TIWN): After jolts like 10323 teachers termination and the quality-less education in Govt Schools, the Central Govt has been strict to its policy of quality education in the budget 2018-19. While placing the budget, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said, "Education is the key of social development, but without quality within teachers, the education's quality can't go ahead. Thus I am announcing 13 lakhs teachers to be brought under B.Ed training this year".

At the same time, the Govt has pressured upon digital mode of education system's building up so that there can be a rapid growth in quality education.

To provide education to tribals in their local environment by 2022, every block comprising more than 50 per cent of tribal population and at least 20,000 tribal people will have an 'Eklayva Model Residential School', Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley announced in his Budget on Thursday.

The schools will be part of the Navodaya Vidyalayas and provide for "special facilities for preserving local arts and culture besides providing training in sports and skill development", he said. 
Tripura's SSA, RMSA and other teachers also strived for B.Ed training by state govt, but as the state govt didn't take any effort, now the centre has come in action for the welfare teachers as well as for the development of  all states' education system. Now' it's to be seen how far developments come under the budget announced for the 1 year.
