Three Bangladeshi Citizens arrested at A | AGARTALA, April 20 (TIWN): Agartala GRP Police arrested three Bangladeshi youth from Agartala Railway station, and seized their Bangladesh voter-ID card, Smart Phones, and Indian currency. While interrogating, three of them are changing their statements constantly, and their claims also vary from each other. Agartala Railway Satation OC-Tapas Das told media, “Each of them eneterd India in illegal ways. They said they were heading from Agartala via Kolkata to Bangalore and Chennai.” “GRP PS after interrogating would send them in court,” said the cop. Bangladeshi Drones are allegedly flying | AGARTALA, April 7 (TIWN): Locals of Belonia, Ballamukha area alleged that for last few days Bangladeshi Drones were winging over the area which has triggered curiosity. On Monday morning, a Drone was found inside Indian border, on the paddy lands which 300 meter away from India-Bangladesh border. BSF, police personnel rushed to the spot to check the matter and found a black-color drone which they suspect perhaps came from Bangladeshi. Talking to an investigating police official, he said, “At morning, we were informed that at retired police official Sadhan Majumder’s housing area one drone camera was found. Cigarette Smuggling busted inside ORIS l | KAILASHAHAR, April 2 (TIWN): Kailashahar police seized bundles of cigarettes which was kept near India-Bangladesh fencing. “This cigarette is popularly known as Burmis-cigarette,” said the on-duty cop Sukanta Sen Chowdhury. “We came to know about the packets from a secret source. It was informed that the packets could be found in the Rangamura border fencing line forest area.” SI Asish Pal rushed to the spot and recovered three packets of such cigarettes. The packets were labelled with ORIS-logo like marks. Oris is a popular Switzerland-manufactured watch company. There is another Oris labeled cigarette selling brand, which mostly targets Chinese consumers. However, it’s not known, if the recovered cigarette is from this one. Villagers Locked Anganwadi Center after | AMARPUR, April 2 (TIWN): They alleged it is a corruption. “We will not open the lock until a new helper is recruited from our locality and remove the newly hired one,” said an agitator who participated in a protest demanding immediate revocation of Anganwadi helper appointment. The incident happened in Amarpur subdivision's Jarjharia area which falls under Ward No-1.
