AGARTALA, Jan 9 (TIWN): Tripura’s garment (silk) industry workers under Nimbark have staged a 2 hours long National Highway blockade in demand of regularization.

The agitation was shown in front of Badharghat office, blocking Agartala-Sabroom National Highway for long 2 hours.

A massive traffic jam was followed after the blockade led thousand of vehicles to be paused.

Later, the local authority talked to the agitators and assured them that proper actions to be taken  to save their future and talks on regularization with the dept also to be taken place.

After being assured, the agitators released the National Highway.
