AGARTALA, Dec 29 (TIWN): Under Govt of Tripura, Bisweswar Nandi has been extended for 1 year more, but Bhanu Lal Saha said that 1 year extension is just a formality as till Dipa Plays in Olympic, he has to keep.

"Bisweswar Nandi has been extended for 1 year. However, it is just a matter of formality as he has to be kept till the next Olympic and in next times also it will be extended", said Saha.

Bisweswar Nandi was also awarded with Dronacharya award, when Dipa Karmakar was receiving Rajiv Gandhi Khel award.

After the cabinet meeting when Finance Minister Bhanu Lal Saha was declaring various decisions taken by state govt, it has also been announced.
