AGARTALA / KALYANPUR, Dec 26 (TIWN): Christmas celebration has been completed in Northeast Tripura amidst peace and harmony, with no untoward incident was informed so far.
After a peaceful Christmas, now youngsters are preparing for New Year's celebration, busy to buy gifts, greetings to welcome the new year.
Lakhs of people thronged across churches, shopping malls in Agartala to celebrate Christmas on Monday.
Tripura police left no scope for any disturbances and at every foot-steps police, TSR have been deployed.
Big Bazar, City Centre and various other places at the Capital City remained lighted, glittering throughout the evening and night. Mariamnagar church’s crowd was not less than Diwali, Kharchi celebrations.
People from all religions thronged to Christmas celebrating zones to become a part of the auspicious occasion.
No untoward incident has been and yesterday traffics were seen chasing some of those bikers, vehicular at the Capital City’s various corners.
