AGARTALA, Dec 23 (TIWN): Opposition BJP has conducted Mosquito-net movement at Duga Chowmuhani today protesting against the increasing mosquitoes across Agartala due to the negligence of the Agartala Municipal Corporation.

The BJP blocked the road of Duga Chowmuhani-Sankar Chowmuhani area led by hundreds of BJP supporters.

The blockade started at around 11 AM and some protesters were seen protesting from inside the mosquito net.

A traffic jam was also observed due to the sudden road blockade, but the agitators said that unless and until the AMC authority assure them to down the mosquito problem, they will not move.

Later Police and the local authorities rushed to the spot and controlled the situation.
