AGARTALA, Dec 22 (TIWN): After Congress MLA Ratan Lal Nath joined BJP, Tripura Congress demanded termination of the MLA from MLA post.

In a press meet, Congress spokesman Harekrishna Bhowmik told media, “We will request the Assembly Speaker to terminate Ratan Lal Nath from the MLA post”.  

 Tripura Congress has also suspended few activists for anti-party activities.

They are : Satyabarat Roy, Tapan Saha, Gautam Debbarma, Bibek Roy.

Apart from that Congress also has demanded action against Councilor (under AMC) Himani Debbarma.

Congress will demand both of their suspensions from respective posts.
