SABROOM, Dec 19 (TIWN): One person namely has been killed in road accident at Damdama under Sabroom Sub-Division.

 According to eye witness the accident took place at around 6.10 PM this evening in the National Highway . It is learnt that a tripper car running in full speed struck the man from behind when he was going through the national highway at Damdama . But the driver immediately disappeared from the spot . 

The local people took the injured man to the Sabroom Hospital, where the doctors declared him to be dead . Police have identified the man as  Panna Kuri(67) of Damdama  under Sabroom Police Station. The driver is said to be absconding with the car .
