Agartala, Aug 19 (TIWN): Troops of BSF Campus, comprising of Sector HQ, Panisagar, 110 BN BSF and 159 BN BSF today planted more than 1300 saplings in BSF campus at Panisagar.

SDM of Panisagar Biplab Das and Officiate Principal of Panisagar KV remain present there during the event.

Speaking on the occasion Commandant of 159 Battalion BSF B.K Jha stated that this is a part of an endeavour of BSF under the slogan ' My Earth My Duty' campaign. Such event is a necessity keeping in view the present day scenario of natural disasters.  

They planted the saplings between 10 am to 10.30 am in order to make it to the limca book of world record. SDM of Panisagar Biplab Das expressed his pleasure and applauded the efforts of BSF in such a noble cause. BSF, conducting this act has proved that they are eco-friendly force.

Altogether 1328 saplings were planted in 31 BOPs in the border areas of Kailasahar and Dharmanagar and 1320 saplings in BSF campus of Panisagar.
