‘Per month 100 people’s names entering in missing diaries’, says Ratan Lal Nath

AGARTALA, Nov 16 (TIWN): Tripura Opposition MLA Ratan Lal Nath said that per month atleast 100 people are getting ‘missing’ in state Tripura, as per the Assembly data.
In 2014 total 1358, in 2015 total 942, in 2016 1260 persons’ names were registered in missing dairies, but police could not find them out.
The MLA raised question, whether the missing people are alive or dead.
The MLA raised certain questions as :
- Have the people gone to other states in search of works?
- Or they have been taken to other countries ??
- Are they trapped under the terrorist groups ?
- Or themselves have become terrorists ?
Nath has raised issue following the brutal murder of Jiban Debnath whose deadbody was recovered recently at Khumulwng.
