AGARTALA, Nov 13 (TIWN): Forest Dept has recovered expensive woods on Monday.
Forest Dept seized woods were to be sold illegally by smugglers, a source said but getting informed through a secret source Forest Dept battalion have recovered the items.
The raid was done at Kabiraj Tilla by Forest Dept Bn in the morning.
The recovered woods worths atleast Rs. 1 lakhs.
Illegal selling of woods have been a major problem for the state since decades. Even though some raids are done but hardly thieves can be nabbed.
