AGARTALA, Nov 13 (TIWN): An indefinite Pen Down Strike has begun across Tripura Schools led by the SSA teachers.

SSA Welfare Association members have urged the SSA teachers to succeed the work strike.

"I beg to inform you that we are going to launch indefinite pen down strike from 13th November,2017.If the following demands will fulfill", tweeted Bastab Debbarma the Secretary of SSA Welfare Association.

Earlier the teachers conducted a 7 day long hunger strike in demand of regularization.

Bastab Debbarma further said, "The indefinite pen down strike will be stopped once our demands are fulfilled".

The 3 demands of the SSAs are :

1.Regularization

2.PAB salary 2017/18,

3.ROP 2017/2.25”.
