AGARTALA, Nov 12 (TIWN): MP Prahlad Singh Patel in his two day visit in Tripura said that Tripura Govt has failed to build a single road under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna.
"On the one side central deprivation is alleged, but on the other side not a single road was constructed under PMGSY", said Patel.
"First utilize the existing Yojnas before you blame the centre", said Patel.
The Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana is a nationwide plan in India to provide good all-weather road connectivity to unconnected villages.
MP Saroj Pandey said, "A federal system run through the functioning of State and Centre both. Centre has given 5 National Highways and works on 4 Highways have started, rail connectivity doesn't need any introduction in Tripura. But the State Govt has totally failed to utilize the Central projects".
