AGARTALA, Nov 12 (TIWN): A house was looted at Agartala on Saturday night at Joynagar.

The incident took place in Nityananda Sutradhar's house. Two of his renters' rooms were looted by the miscreants taking the opportunity of the empty house.

The looted rooms were of Sourabh Das, Abhijit Sarkar.

As per police's information Abhijit Sarkar is not in the house and has gone for vacation at Bangladesh, whereas the house owner Nityananda Sarkar is also out of station. 

This incident has generated tension, resentments among the locals.
