AGRTALA, Oct 28 (TIWN): With a historical move Minister of State for Railways Rajen Gohain has flagged off Rajdhani Express at Agartala Railway Station on Saturday amidst cheers and enthusiasm.

Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy, state Minister Badal Choudhury, Minister Manik Dey, MP Jharna Das Baidya, Shakar Prasad Dutta, Jiten Chowdhury remained present on that occassion.

The inauguration was done at 1 PM, as scheduled connecting Tripura with Delhi via Rajdhani Express.

There are 14 coaches in total to drive Tripura from Agartala to New Delhi with an exclusive journey experience.

Among the 14 coaches 1 coach will be for AC (First Class), 1 coach for AC Hot Buffet Car, 2 will be Tier and rest of 8 will be AC-3 Tier (Power cum Luggage Van).
