AGARTALA, Oct 27 (TIWN): In Indo-Bangla 'Setu-Bandhan' programme, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar said that India could get freedom long back than 1947 if they didn't step in British's intrigue.
'British had created a poisonous tree to create an unending clash among Hindus and Muslims and the poison is still killing the unity", said CM.
"If British created poisonous tree could be identified on that time then, the partition also could be avoided", said CM.
In front of the foreign delegates, Manik Sarkar hit India's unity and claimed 'Unity of India' is in risk.
However, CM didn't drop his favourite topic of 'Food Habit', 'Go-Raksha'to hit the present BJP Govt at Centre.
