UDAIPUR, Oct 20 (TIWN): Thousands of Hindu devotees has thronged to Udaipur Matabari on the occasion of Diwali-2017.
The Northeast devotees' gatherings were high due to the newly inaugurated train service which has been connected with Udaipur City.
'Eventhough rain disrupted the business but it was again from night 12 AM that profit went high', an official told TIWN.
A 2 day long cultural festival was held successfully in the Matabari premise. On Thursday night Assam's renowned singer Jina Rajkumari Goswami performed at Matabari.
This year special attention has been brought for Diwali as the Matabri temple is changing colours in every 1 minutes. There are 4 lighting-posts and total 120 lights along with small lights across the temple premise.
Total 30 numbers of CCTV camera had been set at Matabari for Diwali on last year. Above 2000 police officials are deployed at the temple on the day of Diwali.
