AGARTALA, Oct 19 (TIWN): Profit downed than the expectation on Thursday due to the rainy weather on the occasion of Diwali.
At Agartala in front of Indranagar Kali Bari shops have been closed and covered as the rain is damaging the displayed items.
Food shopkeepers are the worst sufferers in the rainy atmosphere.
Since the night hours incessant rain has hit the Hindu devotees across the state.
At Matabari, Udaipur also businessmen are undergoing losses. The mela-businessmen who had set their stalls across the temple premise for the fair were resented since the morning.
However amidst rains also devotees have thronged offer prayers to Goddess Kali in various temples of the state.
