AGARTALA, Oct 18 (TIWN): Even though ban has imposed upon Fire Crackers at New Delhi to keep the city pollution-free, but Tripura will enjoy with fire cracker in this Diwali.
The fire cracker ban not only caused losses to the businessmen at New Delhi but it also created tensed situations across the Delhi-NCR area as Hindus have come in massive protest.
However, Tripura Governor Tathgata Roy criticizing the restriction on Fire Crackers has tweeted, "Because unlike Diwali patakas they spread no pollution. But they teach cruelty to children, pollute their minds, much worse".
But in Tripura the business for Diwali with fire crackers are on peak but talking the mass, it has been known that a single day's fire cracker should not be big-headache for the nation.
But restriction has given on the level of sounds for crackers' burning.
The highest permissible sound limit for fire crackers in the state is been fixed at 90 decibel at 5 metres in a public place on the occasion of Diwali / Laxmi puja.
The association have prohibited citizens from bursting fire crackers in public places including the streets this Laxmi puja, as it exposes residents and commuters to noise, air pollution and the risk of injury.
The order has been enforced in the city and suburbs. The police have also put a blanket ban on bursting of crackers between 10 pm and 6 am.
