Customers across Tripura are facing hard times due to the sudden price hike of fruits and various other items ahead of Diwali.
TIWN visited various fruit shops across Agartala on Tuesday morning but the market has been burning with massive price hikes.
Asking the vendors regarding the price-hike's cause, they said, "It's because of GST". This is how since Laxmi puja people are fooled by the vendors taking the opportunity of Govt's silence.
On the other side the artisans are now busy to shape Goddess Kali idols and to give their best efforts in making the idols beautifully.
In Tripura at Udaipur Matabari temple the highest celebration is made & preparation is there also on peak.
Kali Puja, also known as Shyama Puja or Mahanisha Puja, is a festival dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kali, celebrated on the new moon day of the Hindu month Kartik especially in West Bengal, Odisha, Assam and Bangladesh. It coincides with the pan-Indian Lakshmi Puja day of Diwali.
