AGARTALA, Oct 14 (TIWN): Locals of Banerjee Para have allegedly attacked upon BJP’s expelled leader Bidyut Ghosh against whom a false case was filed by BJP women leader Dipa Das following various threats from her CPI-M ruled law’s house.
However, recently she has withdrawn the case filed against Bidyut Ghosh at Amtani PS and sought forgiveness from all citizens, for misguiding the society.
With this setback some locals (initiated by CPI-M) allegedly called police on Friday night in front of Bidyut Ghosh house where they have conducted a Kali Puja.
According to the local and CPI-M members, like every year they were conducting a Kali puja in their area, which comes infront of Bidyut Ghosh’s home, but this year Bidyut Ghosh asked them not to do Kali puja in front of his house and it fueled a fight among locals.
After police came, Bidyut Ghosh said, “Nothing happened like they as they are claiming. There was no talk about Kali puja with me and locals. Also, I don’t have any problem if the puja is done here”.
With all these a chaos had created at Banerjee para of Agartala. However, police controlled the situation and asked everyone to maintain the peace during Kali puja.
