AGARTALA, Oct 11 (TIWN): Tripura Petrol Pump Owners Association has decided to join the nationwide protest call given by United Petroleum Front on October 13 but has said "emergency services would be spared from the strike."
The petrol pumps across the state will remain closed on October 13 as a part of the strike call give by United Petroleum Front.
"We will be supporting the strike by shutting down all the petrol pumps in the state," said one petrol pump dealer of state.
The ambulances, which come under emergency services, would be provided the fuel that day also.
The United Petroleum Front (UPF) had last week announced nationwide strike of dealers on October 13 to press for for various demands, including better margins and inclusion of petroleum products in the GST.
