AGARTALA, Oct 10 (TIWN): Tripura CPI-M has observed Sahidan Diwas on Tuesday remembering farmers, who were killed at Golaghati.

According to CPI-M in King's era the farmers at Golaghati was killed by police while protesting against the extra taxes charged over them.

Many farmers died on spot after police shot on them.

At Melarmath party office a programme was conducted in farmers' remembrance.
