AGARTALA, Oct 6 (TIWN): Tripura CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar on Friday said that N C Debbarma led IPFT had kidnapped Jiban Debnath on Sep 20 at Khumlwng.

The CPI-M leader claimed this after the investigation began with with Balendra Debbarma's arrest at Khumlwng regarding Jiban Debnath's vehicle burning.

Question raises, if CPI-M knows that N C Debbarma led IPFT had kidnapped Jiban Debnath, then why no arrest of the actual leader has been done yet. Is this 'allegation' just for 'allegation' and to save GMP activists of Khumlwng ?

"One journalist from outside, one BJP activist Biswajit Debbarma were returning from Jampui Jala to Khumlwng by hiring Jiban Debnath's vehicle. On that time by stopping them the vehicle was burnt by NC led IPFT and they kidnapped Jiban Debnath, burnt his vehicle. The arrested accused has said it so far", said Dhar.

However, Bijan Dhar also said that there are more culprits in that Khumlwng violence and CPI-M demands their immediate arrest.
